Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of webbface.com and the websites it hosts and operates for customer businesses (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service generates, hosts, and maintains business websites. Each customer site includes hosting, SSL, a content editor, and a contact form that delivers enquiries to the customer. We may update, improve, or modify features of the Service at any time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase the Service.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are given for the remainder of a period. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; founding-price commitments we have made in writing are honored.

4. Your content

You own your content. Text, images, and information you publish through the Service remain yours. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service. You may export your content and leave at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful; to send spam; to attempt to breach the security or data isolation of the platform or of other customers' sites; or to resell the Service without our written agreement. We may suspend or remove sites that violate this section, with notice where practical.

6. Visitor enquiries

Contact forms on customer sites collect enquiries on behalf of that customer. The customer is responsible for handling those enquiries lawfully. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance and will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption. Support is provided by email and through the contact form.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service for material breach of these Terms if the breach is not cured within a reasonable period after notice. Upon termination you may request an export of your content for 30 days.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date, and where reasonable, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
